Dear all International students:

新型冠状病毒引发的肺炎疫情发生以来，中国采取的应对疫情举措，有效减缓了疫情的蔓延扩散，阻断了病毒的人际传播，得到了世界卫生组织的高度肯定。截至目前，我国疫情防控取得阶段性成果。2020年3月20日18时起，江西省新冠肺炎疫情防控重大突发公共卫生事件应急响应级别由二级调整为三级。

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the measures taken by China to deal with the epidemic have effectively slowed down the spread of the epidemic and blocked the transmission of the virus, which has been highly recognized by the World Health Organization. Up to now, China has achieved staged results in epidemic prevention and control. From 6:00pm of March 20th, 2020, the emergency response level of the COVID-19 epidemic in Jiangxi province was adjusted to the third-level public health emergency response.

为进一步做好疫情防控工作，保障你和家人的健康，我们向全体国际学生友情提示：

In order to further improve the epidemic prevention and control and ensure the health of you and your families, please follow these suggestions:

1.开学通知下发之前，遵守不提前返校的要求。我们将根据教育部和省教育厅的相关通知确定开学日期，并至少提前14天发出开学通知，尽可能为大家购买机票预留时间。请在没有接到准确的开学时间前，不要购买来华机票，不要入境中国 (参看中国外交部、国家移民管理局关于暂停持有效中国签证、居留许可的外国人入境的公告。根据省教育厅的通知，对需新办理来华学习签证或签证延期事宜的境外留学生，将根据不同情况予以相应手续便利。具体实施时间视境外疫情发展情况定。

1. International students are not allowed to return to the university before a re-opening notice. The university will determine the opening date according to the relevant notice from the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Education Department, and issue a notice to you at least 14 days in advance to reserve time for you to purchase air tickets. Please do not buy air tickets to China or enter China until you have received the exact return date from the university. (Please also refer to the Announcement on the Temporary Suspension of Entry by Foreign Nationals Holding Valid Chinese Visas or Residence Permits by Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the official reply from the Provincial Education Department, the corresponding visa procedures will offer and facilitate for international students who need to apply for a new visa or visa extension according to different situations. The specific time of implementation will be announced depending on the development of overseas epidemic situation.

2.积极参加网络授课。在疫情期间，我校已经全面开启网上授课平台，停课不停学，请大家联系自己的各科任课老师，继续积极参加网络授课。

2. Participate in online classes actively. During the epidemic, the university has set up many online teaching platforms. Please follow your teachers to actively participate in online classes.

3.密切关注疫情信息。在疫情防控时期，各类社交媒体不时发布关于疫情的不实言论，请大家关注中国国家卫生健康委员会和江西理工大学发布的官方消息，做到不编谣、不传谣、不信谣。

3. Pay close attention to official information of the epidemic. During the critical period of the epidemic prevention and control, various social media release false statements about the epidemic. Please pay attention to the official news released by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China  and our university. Don’t make up, spread and believe in rumors.

4.按时完成健康日报和反映困难诉求。国际教育学院将密切关注疫情的发展情况以及学校和上级部门的相关通知，随时向同学们通报信息。请大家配合班级辅导员完成每日健康上报，如你有任何疑问或突发状况，都可以告知你的班级辅导员、老师和学院办公室工作人员，我们将及时回应你的关切。

4. Complete Daily Report and communicate your questions or difficulties with teachers. The School of International Education will pay close attention to the situation of the epidemic and relevant notices from university and superior departments. We will inform the latest epidemic control information to you. Please complete your Daily Report to your class counselors on time. If you have any questions or emergency situation, you are welcome to contact with your counselors, teachers and staff of the school office, we will respond to your concerns in time.
